I came down in less than an hour and Jamar was working the cart. The front desk told me I could request one if I went to my room and came back down. My latest encounter with him was at the welcome cart to the hotel. I understand if this is restaurant policy, however he knew how long I had waited for my food and couldn’t even do the least which is to give me a “free” soda. When I asked him if I could get another soda I was told if I could if I wanted to pay for it. Not even a refill was offered after the ridiculously long wait in an empty restaurant. While waiting for I asked for a soda to come with my food. Overall waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for my cheeseburger to arrive. After waiting about half an hour for my food I ordered a beer which took another 20 minutes for him to bring. I ordered a cheeseburger in an almost empty restaurant. The first time I encountered Jamar was in the sports bar located behind the check-in desk. I have visited this location a few times in the past couple months. Most recently I encountered Jamar who is straight lazy. However, I find the service of the staff especially in the restaurants and pool area horrendous.
This hotel has nice rooms, beautiful pool and beach area.
